Great Question: First of all, as in most system changes, in general, we tend to put, I’ll say mundane tasks aside and do them after the fact. And updating plans and documents tend to be one of thse things, but with a key system like a core banking system for example, or digital platform, it’s important to make that a part of the project, to make that a part of that journey to get to the end, to get to the deliverable. 

So that when you do go into production an you are ready and you do go into production that in case something does happen, something doesn’t work as expected, that you have a fall back plan, you have a way of getting back to some level of normalcy as you were before that.
